A free lunch will be provided by HCA and residents are welcome to attend one of the events below. In May, the Community Engagement team held a Connected Communities event in the City of Darebin. The aim of the event was to connect residents with a range of services in their local community. The event was held at Preston Library. There were approximately 20 residents that attended. The services that attended were: ∞ Bridge Darebin ∞ DIVRS ∞ Preston Library ∞ Northcote Aquatic Recreation Centre ∞ Reservoir Leisure Centre Each service brought resources for residents and gave a short presentation about what their organisation can offer. At the end, residents had time to talk with staff, ask questions, get more information, and sign up for services. If you would like a similar event run near your home, please email cevic@hcau.org.au.
