In early July, Housing Choices Australia staff volunteered at the 2026 Aboriginal Housing Victoria NAIDOC Family Day. The event is held every year during NAIDOC week to celebrate and honour the oldest living culture in the world. The event is free and has activities including live music and dance, face painting and traditional arts and crafts. This year, Housing Choices staff helped AHV to set up the event, assist in the arts and crafts tent and helped at the free BBQ and the Annual AHV Renter Art Gallery.
