ELEMENT 10.1 - ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES IN CONTROLLED HV ENVIRONMENT
To achieve the lesson learning objectives, the participants can:
66) Distinguish designated duties, roles and responsibilities in controlled HV environments (Skills, intermediate level)
67) Discuss electrical safety principles and safety rules in HV environments (Knowledge, intermediate level)
68) Distinguish the Five Safety Rules (EN50110-1), Golden Five Rules (NFPA 70E) or local equivalent to establish an electrically safe work condition (Skills, intermediate level)
The instructor shall:
Introduce participants to the specific roles and responsibilities that will be used for a controlled HV environment during the training.
Facilitate a reflective discussion comparing the training setting to participants workplace ensuring awareness of:
a. different regional terms and approaches in establishing an electrically safe work condition
b.
different company SSOWs
c.
different safety rules in different regions
d. responsibility to understand which rules apply in your workplace:
The participants shall:
Engage in the reflective group discussion comparing the training setting to participants’ workplace electrical safety principles and safety rules in HV environments to distinguish differences in:
a.
designated duties, roles and responsibilities
b. electrical safety principles and safety rules to be applied
c.
how to establish an electrically safe work condition
