PRESSING HEAT TRANSFER VINYL ONTO T-SHIRTS:
1. Take the design you have cut with your vinyl cutter and take out the pieces you do not require. 2. Pre-heat heat press to 165°C and set the timer to 10 - 12 seconds. 3. Place T-shirt on top of the rubber mat and position same as required. 4. Close the press by pulling the handle down and locking it for 5 seconds to remove all the creases from the shirt. 5. The pressure should be MEDIUM for t-shirts. 6. Adjust your pressure accordingly by turning the adjustment knob 7. Place design on the T-shirt and press for the required time as indicated. 8. Open the press when the beep sounds 9. Rub with a cloth over the design before removing the plastic backing 10. Peel warm 11. Place the silicone sheet over the pressed design and repress for 2 seconds to seal the edges
Pre-heat the press to 150°c and set the timer to 7 seconds when using the following heat transfer vinyls:
Reflective,
•
Glow in the dark; or
• •
Puff vinyl
When doing layering with more than one colour vinyl on top of the other, half the press time to 6 seconds per layer so that you do not burn the glue on the bottom layers. If this happens, your vinyl will peel off as there is nothing sticking it to the shirt.
