Conner Swift’15 Executive Director | Marshall-Saline Development Corporation Conner Swift earned his bachelors degree in history from Missouri Valley College in 2015. He obtained his Master of Arts in Education from Lindenwood University in 2017. Swift currently serves as the Executive Director of the Marshall-Saline Development Corporation (MSDC). The Marshall-Saline Development Corporation is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to the economic development of Marshall and Saline County. The MSDC works to retain jobs in Saline County, foster workforce for existing jobs, bring in new jobs and business, and serve as a resource for local businesses. The Marshall-Saline Development Corporation has worked on various projects over the years. A few recent projects include partnering with the City of Slater to build homes for Northwest Community Services in order to retain jobs in Saline County, as well as partnering with the City of Marshall and ConAgra to utilize grant funding to improve infrastructure. Currently, the MSDC is working on a child care facility and establishing a small business incubator for Marshall/Saline County. Prior to his role at the MSDC, Swift worked for 13 years in the Student Affairs Department at Missouri Valley College. He served in various roles including Director of Housing & Residence Life and Associate Dean of Students. Conner and his wife Jennifer (MVC ‘16) reside in Marshall with their son.
