Guests were entertained by comedian and vocal impressionist Jay McGee, before rounding off the evening on the dance floor. A round 300 BIFA Members, their guests and local stakeholders gathered at The Hilton Liverpool City Centre in early March for the BIFA Liverpool Region Charity Dinner. On arrival, guests enjoyed a drinks reception accompanied by the harp of Maxine Molin. After taking their seats for dinner and introducing the Lord Mayor of Liverpool, Councillor Richard Kemp CBE and the Lady Mayoress, Councillor Erica Kemp CBE, regional
chair Keith Baguley of ACL Grimaldi Lines welcomed everyone to the new venue and appealed for support for the chosen charity, Zoe’s Place Baby Hospice. In 2024, Zoe’s Place faced an uncertain future in Liverpool having failed to secure the funding required for new premises. However, after a frenetic campaign, the initial £5 million target was reached and the future of the hospice assured. Through a game of heads-and-
