Metal Inserts, Sheets and Tins/Lids

Metal lids of Tins with no insert

1. First, set the pressure of the press with the lid inside to medium before you switch the press on. After the pressure is correct, set the press to 190 degrees and 90 seconds. 2. Apply the print to the top of the lid and secure it with heat tape. Then press for 90 seconds.

3. After the time is up, remove the print immediately.

To prevent any faded areas on the metal, you can use our black rubber inserts in the lid to keep it from bending while you press. Use the following steps if you decide to use the rubber:

• Press the lid for 50 seconds and 190 degrees to avoid burning the rubber insert. • Remove the lid from the metal box. Place the print face down on the lid and secure it with heat tape. • insert the two black rubber inserts into the lid and place it in the press. • Adjust the pressure to medium-high. It should be nice and firm but not damaging the lid by forcing it down. • Press for 50 seconds.
