Construction on Cornerstone at Barnegat hits halfway mark BARNEGAT, NJ — Con- struction on the new afford- able rental community for seniors (55+) Cornerstone at Barnegat has hit the halfway mark, according to Walters Group , which is develop- ing the project to LEED and ENERGY STAR specifica- tions. The 70-unit building is scheduled for completion in mid-December 2016. Beginning on August 1, applications will be accepted at the Stafford Park Apart- ments leasing office located at 321 Cook Rd., Manahawkin. Eligible applicants will be considered on a first-come first-serve basis. Located on the corner of Rte. 9 and Georgetown Blvd., Cor- nerstone at Barnegat is being built on a five-acre site.
