C l a r k e ’ s , Binswanger announced the completion of a fifteen-year lease from Keystone Prop- erty Group at The Curtis, located at 601 Walnut Street in Philadelphia. Founded in 1884, P.J. Clarke’s is one of the oldest and most legendary bars in New York serving locals, laborers, office workers and celebrities. The restaurant is known for its signature Ca- dillac Burger (named by Nat

King Cole), King George’s Shepherd’s Pie, lamb shank, fish and chips and baked mac and cheese. Today, P.J. Clarke’s has locations in New York, Washington DC and Brazil. The Curtis location in Philadelphia is slated to open late summer 2016. The Curtis is a histor- ic, twelve floor, 885,786 s/f building located at the cor- ner of 6th and Walnut St. The building is conveniently located adjacent to Wash- ington Square Park and Independence National His-

toric Park and is accessible to all public transportation and close to major roadways including I-95, I-676 and I-76. P.J. Clarke’s will be occupying 16,835 s/f for their 200 seat restaurant with an outdoor dining space and lower-level bowling alley space which will be used for private parties. The transaction for the tenant was handled by Josh Haber , vice president in Binswanger’s Philadelphia, Pennsylvania office. “After three years of searching for restaurant space, I am thrilled that the iconic P.J.
