ETHLEHEM, PA — Amy Hollander, the president and CEO of the National Museum of In- dustrial History welcomed about 50 members and guests for an exclusive preview tour in June. The Smithsonian af- filiate museumwill open to the public on August 6th during Bethlehem’s 10-day Musikfest celebration. Located in a 100-year-old industrial building that was once the electrical repair shop of Bethlehem Steel, the mu- seum celebrates the history of America’s industrial past and looks ahead to the future. A number of exhibit items were first displayed as the latest in technology during the United States’ 1876 Centennial Ex- position, held in Philadelphia, and are on loan from the Smithsonian Museum. TheMuseum is housed in the renovated and repur- posed Bethlehem Steel Electrical Machine Shop.
