Key Responsibilities

Programme Structure and Governance (50%) • Building on wider programme and project management systems for the White City Programme, to ensure similar appropriate systems are in place for the capital projects at White City Campus, and that appropriate performance management protocols operate. Setting up and monitoring

development projects to be developed to College standards and following College procurement, finance and risk management controls. • Working with colleagues in Risk and Legal departments, to support the broader White City Programme Risk Management process, representing the development elements. Contract and Budget Recording and Monitoring (40%) • Develop, implement, and maintain good management practices in respect of the delivery of the white city development programme, including effective contract management and monitoring of activities of delivery partners. Ensure that programmes deliver planned performance and outputs to time, budget commitments and quality specifications by monitoring the activities of delivery partners and their contractors; highlighting risks and issues and taking remedial actions as required. • To support the management of programme budgets, retaining oversight over all development budgets including regular reporting, ensuring that College controls are followed. The role is also responsible for ensuring that the monitoring of capital and revenue spend are tracked through the governance structure. Ensure that everything possible is done to ensure that the project is completed within the agreed timescales and within budget. • Assist in managing the selection of contractors and consultants for projects, in line with College procurement requirements; brief and manage consultants, support RfPs and ITT processes, monitor their progress and performance; agree invoices and authorise payments • Provide accurate performance monitoring against budgets including highlighting risks and issues and taking remedial actions as required. Ensure

that financial scrutiny includes ongoing liaison with finance leads on the provision of precise budgetary projections for annual profiles. • Working alongside finance colleagues, ensure that robust budget control mechanisms are in place from project to programme levels to achieve accurate financial governance, particularly cashflow planning. cross all commitments. • Provide technical input, programme management expertise and budget modelling support during the feasibility and development stages of new programmes and policies in order to ensure that outcomes are maximised, programmes are deliverable, and priorities are met. White City Development Team Coordination (10%) • Advise colleagues on the level of financial, human and other resources in place to deliver the White City Campus programme and find solutions where there are resource gaps identified. • Champion a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. • To develop and maintain good working relationships with all key public, private, non- statutory and community stakeholders involved with the White City Campus programme. Other • Plan own resources to ensure optimum delivery • Take responsibility for own self-development including participation in seminars, courses and private study, and report to line management on training and development needs through annual review conversations. • Observe and comply with all College policies and regulations, for example Health and Safety, Data Protection etc.

Identify potential difficulties with programme delivery and take appropriate remedial action or, where necessary, advise the White City Development

Director on the options for the appropriate courses of action. • Intercept and flag major issues
