REAL WEDDING
The Proposal Callum proposed after seven wonderful years together. For as long as we’d been a couple, we’d joined my family on holiday to Cornwall, and Fistral Beach has always been my happy place. So, when he suggested a walk along Headland Point, I had no idea what was about to happen! Standing there, looking out over the beach, he suddenly got down on one knee - I said yes, of course! That year became even more magical when we found out our little boy was on the way. Suddenly, our celebrations felt twice as special, and I couldn’t wait to share all of these milestones with our friends and family.
Choosing the perfect venue I’ve always dreamed of a big white wedding. One that was romantic, but also slightly rustic. I love weddings in converted barns and also being outdoors. When we viewed Vaulty Manor (on a bit of a whim) we absolutely fell in love. It really did tick every box. The countryside setting felt intimate and exclusive, yet it had a modern feel that suited our style perfectly. From the moment we walked in, I could imagine our friends and family celebrating with us. Callum and I both agreed instantly that it was the one. Our parents, Mark and Angela Davy and Mark and Charlotte Brown, were thrilled, and sensing their excitement made it even more special. I was so lucky that my sister Katie Davy, Sydney Munson, Bailee Munson, Bobbie Brice, Anna Bareham and Alicia Blake agreed to be my bridesmaids, and I know that Callum felt the same about his groomsmen Blaine Smith, Jordan Brown, Laurie Brown, Ethan Brown, Max Faulkner, Mitchell Blake and Danny O’Shea. Our friends and family have been such an important part of our journey. They’ve shared so many milestones with us and helped lead us to this perfect moment.
