He has mostly good days but at times is in a bit of pain. He will likely have surgery after the first of the year. He is still a sweet, funny guy and loves to protect our house from bad guys, real or imagined. Rita is 100% healthy and loves running through the woods and chasing squirrels and even a skunk every now and then. They are constant companions and love being with me and my wife, whether on a walk or just laying around the house. We wouldn’t trade them for the world.
