STUDENT PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
The Professional Development Center (PDC) organized four workshops this year, focusing on enhancing students' academic and professional skills. The workshops included Mastering Public Speaking and Simulation & Game-Based Learning, among other skill-building sessions. A total of 215 students participated, gaining valuable knowledge and practical experience. Feedback from attend ees was highly positive, highlighting the workshops’ impact on their academic and professional growth. The PDC plans to continue offering similar events to support students’ future success.

PDU’s Certificates Provided
A Professional Development Unit (PDU) is a standardized measure used to award credit for participation in a wide range of professional learning activities. These activities may include action research, staff development programs, curriculum design projects, faculty forums, workshops, seminars, and other structured learning experiences. PDUs are generally awarded at the rate of one unit per hour of participation. To ensure consistency and quality, all PDU- generating workshops or seminars must be delivered by a provider approved by the Professional Development Manager. During 2025, the Professional Development Center continued its commitment to supporting staff growth and instructional excellence. Certificates were issued to participants who successfully completed approved professional learning activities aligned with institutional development goals.
