ACADEMIC SUPPORT
FACULTY FORUM
The Faculty Forum continued to serve as one of the Professional Development Center’s most impactful initiatives in 2025, providing a dynamic platform for academic exchange, innovation, and cross-disciplinary collaboration. A total of 16 Faculty Forums were successfully conducted this year, exceeding the annual KPI target of 15 and reflecting the growing enthusiasm among faculty for sharing knowledge and best practices. These forums highlighted the diverse academic strengths across departments, with many faculty members voluntarily presenting their research, teaching strategies, and innovative classroom practices. The voluntary participation demonstrated a notable cultural shift toward open communication, scholarly engagement, and professional collaboration within the university community. The forums covered a wide range of topics aligned with institutional priorities, including emerging technologies in education, student-centered teaching practices, research methodologies, and strategies for improving learning outcomes. Presenters introduced new perspectives and practical approaches that enriched faculty understanding and contributed to ongoing pedagogical enhancement across colleges. Beyond knowledge sharing, the Faculty Forum strengthened interdepartmental relationships, enabling faculty to explore potential research collaborations and exchange insights on common instructional challenges. This growing academic dialogue has helped cultivate a supportive, idea- driven environment that benefits both faculty and students. Overall, the 2025 Faculty Forums played a vital role in promoting academic excellence, encouraging innovation, and supporting the university’s continuous improvement efforts. The success of this year’s forums underscores their importance as a core component of the Professional Development Center’s mission and a cornerstone of the institution’s collaborative culture.
