seventeen study rooms were made available across both libraries, each designed to accommodate groups of up to four students. These study rooms are equipped with modern features to foster collaboration and productivity, including computers, writable walls, magnetic walls, and writable tables with chairs. The LRC's commitment to offering state-of-the-art resources and spaces for study is reflected in the high demand for these rooms. In total, there were 12,601 bookings made across both male and female libraries in 2025. These bookings were facilitated through the LibCal platform, powered by Springshare, ensuring easy access to and management of study room reservations.

Library Survey Conducted

The 2025 Library User Survey was conducted from February 16, 2025, to March 16, 2025, to assess user satisfaction and gather feedback on library services. This year , 381 responses were received, representing a response rate of 4.99%, with an overall satisfaction score of 3.79 out of 5 , reflecting a generally positive perception of the library’s services.

Key Findings

The highest-rated aspects of the library were:

• The library staff is approachable and friendly – 4.19 • The library staff is knowledgeable & proficient at finding information – 4.16 • The library is a good and quiet place to work and study – 4.09 • The library services in general meet my research and study needs – 3.82 These results demonstrate that the library’s staff and study environment are core strengths. Remarkably, these achievements were made despite the library having only two professional librarians.
