SURVEY REPORT - OUTDOOR RESORT PALM SPRINGS - MAY 2020

OUTDOOR RESORT PALM SPRINGS MEMBERSHIP SURVEY

Please provide any comments you have regarding Outdoor Resort's Vision Statement, Mission Statement or Core Values or any suggestions you have as to how they could be improved:

1. I live at lot XX and my neighbor RV lot looks like a junk yard that I have to look at daily and nothing seems to be done about this. Over one year this guy has bullied me and removed my property bricks and still my HOA tries to correct situation however nothing changes and this is supposed to be a five star resort. No repairs of cars or golf cart should be done on any property. And restrictions on marijuana should be enforced. More shaded areas in the la Paloma pool area like canvas. Also more year round owners and not shut everything down only June to September like restaurant.

2.

Need focus on the ALL!

3.

Wireless internet throughout Resort.

4. Badly need a dog area. The dogs are ruining the landscaping. Pickleball needs to relax the rules about the ball. All balls should be allowed. Also need to extend the hours past 4:00pm. Bella Roma should open a poolside snack service as in other resorts.

5.

Words - just words.

6. I feel that although it is a good statement that there are some Members on the board who do not follow the core values and favour members in the resort more than some. 7. Taking too much time creating statements and not accomplishing any results. 8. The main laundry has several machines out of service. The ES pool decking is very slick, I have slipped several times and also observed others slip as well. The speeding on Golf Course drive is unbelievable! 9. Need more and new lounge chairs at pools! Supposed to be 5-star resort. Also, dog parks should be away from ANY lots. A $300 a year restaurant membership loaded card collected as HOA to support Bella Roma. Some HOA fees towards rig insurance on golf course! 10. Very poor communication with the board. The ability to instantly email everyone in the park with a questionnaire, the board does not do a good job of representing the majority of owners. 11. Vision statement too wordy. Put a period after Resort. Put the rest under Core Values. Not convinced any of this achieves or is used for anything of importance. 12. As weekend only visitors, we go to ORPS to relax and "get away from it all". As owners, we want to maintain our property value by meeting the vision statements. Though we have not sold in over 30 years, those values depend on keeping up the excellent reputation. We like rules to be enforced consistently and across the entire resort. It seems that some owners’ actions tell us that the rule don't apply to them...e.g., speeding, youngsters driving golf carts, walking at night without benefit of flashlights.

13. That ALL owners abide by same rules. That rules are enforced equally to ALL.
