OUTDOOR RESORT PALM SPRINGS Membership Survey Vision/Mission Statements/Core Values Page 11

118. ES kitchen should have been completed by now. The washers and dryers should be in working condition. I have been asking for a dryer at Satellite F to be repaired and replaced for 5 years. It seems it fell on deaf ears. 119. I don't know how you can be a 5-star resort with about 50% dog owners and no decent dog facilities. The new use around the pickleball and tennis courts helps but we really need to have better accommodations. 120. The vision, mission and core value statements are what I expect. I do find a lot of the longer owners are very cliquish and non-inclusive. I also find that some owners feel that the rules are not important.

121. I see the effects of efforts to improve the appearance of many lots. I see this as good!

122. I think they're some of the best I've ever read---as long as we all follow them! 123. The statements are all great goals. It is the lack of whoever is overseeing each often doesn't seem to see the big picture, make sure all the T’s are crossed and I’s dotted and consistency. 124. Enforce the A&A rules and regulations so vision and mission statements can be met 125. The board & administration should act & make policy at the direction of committees & wishes of owners. An example: board makes policy from golf committee recommendations & members. Eliminating volunteers does not follow the core value of community participation. 126. One issue that I feel might be reflected in our statements is that the focus should be on being an RV resort with seasonal residents. The facilities were never intended to function as a year-round residential community. 127. I am in agreement with the vision and mission statements. I feel the core values are very aspiration. Perhaps somehow the owners need to be reminded of those values on a regular basis, as they do not seem to be fully embraced here at ORPS. The most common phrase that is restated by the board and the owners is the desire to be a premier resort. Of course very important, as is the CULTURE of this resort which is described in the core values. 128. Trying so hard to be perceived as Premier that basics are not taken care of as they should be. It is more important to take care of the resort facilities than to “look good”. 129. Irrigation needs attention. Sprinklers off or not working at times. Palm trees in street need to be cut up and gutters need cleaning- some have water in them all the time. satellite pools need to be updated. 130. We do not feel that Outdoor Resorts is a Premier RV Resort nor do we consider the services "Excellent" nor do we think the resort is innovative. 131. ORPS is a nice resort, they always say 5-star. After 36 years you would think by now the resort would realize that a lot of people travel with pets. The dog amenities in ORPS are terrible, if you look at some other 5-star resorts, you will find they have off leash dog areas as well as in resort dog grooming.

132. The resort is getting old and needs updated to keep it a 5-star resort.
