OUTDOOR RESORT PALM SPRINGS Membership Survey Would/Would Not Recommend Page 7

117. Right now, there seems a lack of real security. This is the biggest reason I would not recommend this gated development to friends. Security does not drive around and enforce any safety. The enforcement of speed and stops is nonexistent and extremely dangerous. Bikes, golf carts, cars continue just flying through stop signs and over this season it got worse from beginning to end. The STOP is not painted on the street and just plain no enforcement of any of that. The other thing, there seemed to be too much money spent on nightly entertainment at the BAR, and less bigger group entertainers. We don't need entertainment at the bar that many nights a week. And if we took just a small portion of that money and used it to continue the little flower planting we have left, we would not be hearing the talk of eliminating the flowers. We have already eliminated 75% of them on the golf course. We need this color and break it down by lot, it is about $3-$4 a month and that would be well spent if we had to pay for it rather than move money from somewhere else that is not a benefit to the entire resort. Too many hamburger and hot dog nights - get a variety. And Pickle Ball was voted on to use the soft ball only and that was changed without any consideration to that. That act alone says that the Board/Resort feels that they can override what the majority feels is right. This leaves a very uncomfortable atmosphere to live in. There seemed to be a good improvement in enforcing the maintenance of individual RV's but there seems to be way too many that have done NOTHING to fix their RV. No communication on how that is going to be enforced for next season. 118. Overall annual costs are unbeatable if you are at the resort for any length of time. Knowing where you would be each winter and not having to worry about where to rent or even find rentable lots. 119. The last 2-3 years have been so contentious with everyone that the "ahh" feeling you experience when you first drive through the gates for the season is gone. People have forgotten why they are here. Hence, this is no longer the best winter destination. 120. I would say it is not cheap but the outdoor activities are great especially golf and tennis. Pickle ball is a draw for some but the new ball this year is to loud so I would

not recommend that area to buy because of the noise. There is evening entertainment at ES which you can go to or not. You have choices.

121. In recent years there has been considerable unrest within the resort. There has been an increasing unwillingness to compromise when trying to solve problems. Owner/staff interaction seems to have become more adversarial. 122. It is a beautiful resort with friendly people, some becoming lifelong friend and the facilities for the number of lots are outstanding! 123. Pickleball has taken over the resort. Before long it will be call ORP Pickleball country club. Far too much emphasis & focus has been on this group and sport and will be the reason we sell in it continues in this direction. The noise of this group and the effect on lots in close proximity has been totally ignored by the Board of directors. A significant amount of money has been lost for owners, due to devaluation of the expensive, beautiful back nine golf course lots they own.

124. Wonderful people doing fun things together.

125. Pickleball and central location to all amenities including the airport, as well as all the activities available - something for everyone.
