OUTDOOR RESORT PALM SPRINGS MEMBERSHIP SURVEY
Please provide any additional comments or suggestions you have regarding any aspect of Outdoor Resort:
1. Repave the streets; golf carts or RV not maintain in a 4 plus resort should be given notice to paint etc. keep resort looking nice. I have a junk neighbor pay all HOA and still do not feel I live in a five star resort when I look at trash under and side of neighbor’s RV can been seen from my lot and street. Have to deal with paint fumes from repairs, marijuana and junk. 2. Maintenance issues in some of the facilities seem to take a while to get attention. Example: broken equipment in gym, ladies shower fixtures in La Palma restroom, bugs in light fixtures for as long as the bulbs last. Other than a few very minor items, totally satisfied. 3. Speeding, out of order machines in main laundry.

5. Have to control dogs. Should have the same rule as Desert Shadows. Dogs are not allowed to walk anywhere others than dog areas. They must be taken in cart car or buggy. Having a dog relief/walking area that can be walked to doesn’t work. The dogs urinate on their way. Where dogs are allowed by pickle ball courts have a hose and insist owners water down the area after use. Otherwise it’s a fly breeding area. This is not a dog park and we should not have to spend our dollars to accommodate them. There should be a monthly charge for all dogs, renters and owners. 6. Get these DOG issues sorted out. I'm sick and tired of dog owners using our common areas, gardens, my lot and my neighbor’s lot, as bathrooms for their dogs. Also, as renters arrive to check in, they must be given the proper information regarding the dog rules. Get them to sign a form explaining the do's and don'ts. 7. Unlike the last survey we had...I would hope that our present directors and management will listen to the owners...rather than overlooking the survey results and proceeding with their own plans. 8. Many people who RV, do so because they have a pet (usually a dog) and like to have their furry friends with them. When these owners/renters feel satisfied that their animals are treated correctly, then we do deserve a 5-star rating. I do not know how those who do not appreciate animals can come to terms with having them in the park; maybe separate phases (yikes) as done in some parks. 9. Survey was too long. I got bored and didn't really care what I wrote. The place is touted as a 5-star resort; but it only has 4 trash containers and the majority of washing machines don't work!!!! The old trailers with dog houses have just removed a few stars. It is a cheap place to spend the winter. Too many Canadians on the board; it should be reflective of membership. You get what you pay for here and if we didn't like it, we would leave. 10. I would like to see more controlled spending 11. Satellite 2 laundry is in dire need of upgrades. Most lot owners take pride in their lots and RV, but there should be enforced standards for all owners. Selling of items on individual lots should be unexceptionable.
