OUTDOOR RESORT PALM SPRINGS Membership Survey Comments on Any Aspect of Outdoor Resort Page 3

20. Recommend considering more advertising about the resort in RV magazines, or similar type media outlets outside and within the local communities. There appears to not be much promotion of the resort and it’s more word of mouth or friend referral. 21. Please maintain the grass against the outside walls as well as you do the inside grass areas. Grass area behind the 800’s is badly neglected! But we pay the same HOA’s as everyone else!!! A visual should make everyone aware of this! Please address this, thank you. 22. There should be a vetting process of the third-party service providers. We appreciate those that are here, but they should be vetted to be sure that the quality of their service is maintained and that the price of their services remains competitive. 23. The sign hanging on the side of restaurant, re A-1 golf, and or restaurant is really ugly! Should be looking at a dog fee, and a limiting of dogs in park, seems the two dog relief areas are being underused, and certainly the areas around the clubhouses for dogs is

totally the wrong direction. Have dog owners re read rules and sign an acknowledgement of same. Security should be fining for non-compliance.

24. Our laundry facilities are an embarrassment. Some satellites do not have a single working washer. Instead of relying on service companies outside the valley, we should find a local company that values our business and will respond quickly to service calls. If this means going back to quarters, so be it. Regarding pet areas. My home in Reno has xeriscape, so my dog is used to going on small pebbles. Replace the grass around the pickleball and tennis courts with DG and the dogs will be fine. 25. I feel that the 5 star rating is slipping away. 26. I strongly disagree with having a dog relief area around the ball courts. Not only is the area becoming unsightly, it is unhealthy for the players. It is only a matter of time before the smell will be unmanageable. 27. In general landscaping is good but more attention needs to be spent on irrigation system. Heads spray owners motor homes and in general the system is poorly maintained. I understand it is a huge system. 28. I think it’s disgusting what’s happening around the courts with the dog relief areas and the way some pet owners disregard all rules. More dogs, more issues. 29. ORPS is fine just the way it is except that maintenance of the laundry machines and trees is sub-par. There is no need to spend money on significant upgrades. The golf courses, tennis courts and pickle ball courts look to be excellent and well maintained. 30. Dogs...some owners do not follow rules and will never follow rules. A new dog park should be made available and then "no paws" on the streets of resorts could be implemented. Relief area around pickle ball courts is awful and appearance is ugly. Rumors replacing it with artificial turfs is not a good idea...smell will become and is an issue. Barking can be another issue as well. Dog Procedures, rules etc. could be communicated more to all owners with a method of enforcing those rules. There is a problem in our phase 3 washing rooms. Washers and dryers continuously broken and seem to take months to fix.
