OUTDOOR RESORT PALM SPRINGS Membership Survey Comments on Any Aspect of Outdoor Resort Page 8

67.

10 Years ago I felt we had a 1st class resort. Today, I don’t think we have.

68. A&A rig inspections are subjective, causing confusion and for some resentment.

69. I understand the need to increase HOA fees to maintain the resort, I never hear of ideas to save money, watering mowing blowing and the labor cost to maintain between lots is a good place to start. It would also reduce noise. Pickle ball is growing so fast here, it would be good if one of the satellite court was lined for pickle ball to ease the crowding at the main court. Snacks and beverages on the course would be a great added feature. Not sure there is a need for 2 golf pros at this facility? Dogs are being walked everywhere as some people don’t go far from the lots! 70. The laundry facilities are almost unbearable. Machines are broken everywhere. The main laundry facility is dirty and should be maintained more than once daily. The washers smell and there is dirt, lint and sometimes glitter on the floor and in the dryers. Why hasn't the washers and dryers been repaired/maintained? 71. I would like to see a dog park on our existing land Like the 1000 by 30 feet southwest or in the orchard 72. We need to keep the values up, as all of will need the proceeds when we can’t do it anymore, or choose not to 73. The Board seem to be influenced by their own personal agendas rather than considering the wishes of the general population. Two good examples of this are :- the way pickle ball was railroaded into the resort plus all the court improvements etc. The way the A&A rules have been manipulated to the detriment of the older rigs who may have faded decals but so what. Those owners are probably going to leave the resort due to old age or die soon when the problem can be solved without rancor. 74. Being a lot owner for 7 years and coming to the resort on the same lot for 23 years, we are disturbed by the new trend by new lot owners to light up their lots like Las Vegas. Seems like the trend is many are trying to outdo each other. Cat City has a law that RV parks may not have light standards over 10 feet high, many palm trees have lights up to 30> feet. The more lighting the more the place takes on a city look instead of what many of us are here to escape. 75. Do not try to make the resort so nice that we drive away the current type of ownership we have. It’s currently a great balance of cost and amenities. 76. Our biggest complaint is the appearance of some of the RV's 77. Remove the chairman of the A-A committee. There is a lot of confusion at stop signs, some are just written on road with no signs, too many new ones. We need to have traffic flow. Irrigation is very poorly run, try to repair and don’t test to make sure it is working 78. I think it would be nice to change up some of the activities, not have the same things all the time. If they’re very popular ok but maybe add something new once a year. 79. Lot turf areas need to be better seeded and maintained. Summer water for plants in our lots needs to be improved. I am a weekender. Have more tee times available for those of use that are in the park in lesser increments.
