OUTDOOR RESORT PALM SPRINGS Membership Survey Comments on Any Aspect of Outdoor Resort Page 10

88. Pro shop would be a great addition to the Resort where the sports equipment and apparel should be located. Keep the convenience store where it is, which should contain the RV and Food supplies etc. 89. Overall, ORPS is a wonderful community with great amenities. The things I feel need to be addressed are as follows: Staff training leadership - I am hopeful that our staff will get the training and resources they need to be successful. We seemed to be lacking in process and standard operations protocols. Additional dog friendly areas within the resort - I appreciate that the board is looking at this amenity. We do have a dog but rarely walk him in the resort as it is impossible to enjoy the walks when there are no places our dog is allowed on grass or easy to reach dog relief areas. It’s not all about relief as much as it is for his feet to touch grass, be able to roll and frolicking in the sun and grass or to be able to run off leash. ORPS is sadly behind the times within the national RV Resort community when it comes to dog friendly culture and amenities. The quilt club which is far smaller than the number of dog owners has better facilities and amenities. Our board of directors is greatly underappreciated in general and I feel, work very hard for its members. Setting direction, establishing a strategic plan, being decisive and making decisions that are in the best interest of the community as a whole are the important pillars of leadership. 90. I love everything about Outdoor Resorts except the change allowing dogs to poop/pee on the lawn at the LP Clubhouse. 91. The mailroom needs to go back to owner employees. It was ran very well and organized. ES tiles are horrible looking it needs cleaned. We have a dog problem. Why not convert a tennis court at a satellite. Two could be used one in the back and one towards the front. There are not enough tennis players to use 10 courts. 92. We need to be careful not to have too many if any full-time residents. Limit the number of months that you can live here such as 10 months. 93. Dog relief around sports courts should be suspended immediately. It stinks and is unsightly. Could pose health hazard to the players. The orchard area is a huge area of wasted space. That area should be considered for a dog park. Dog owners should be responsible for their pet’s waste on their own lot, Ramon Rd., local dog parks but never on any common areas including around sports courts. 94. What attracted us to ORPS was the greenery and not just desert scape like what we have seen in other parks. Probably isn't practical in this desert climate and time of water shortages but hope it doesn't cause us to remove all green spaces. Maybe start with the corner spaces and reduce some of that expansive lawn. 95. Please increase the mail room hours. 96. Some very controversial changes should be put to a owners’ vote i.e.: dog relief areas. Dog owners need to take responsibility for their own pets. Use their own lots and take bags supplied by pet owners and spray bottles for the accidents on the road. A size restriction would largely minimize the problem. I love dogs don't get me wrong I choose not to have one because of the added responsibilities associated with caring for them. To spend capital dollars or reserve dollars on temporary areas is a waste when we are already faced with increased HOA fees. Perhaps bocce could replace a couple under used tennis courts at satellites. All in all we have a great Resort
