OUTDOOR RESORT PALM SPRINGS Membership Survey Comments on Any Aspect of Outdoor Resort Page 26

200. The configuration of the garbage area, dog run area and maintenance yard is not appealing to. I would not like to use the dog area behind the garage bins if I was a dog owner. I think there could be a better utilization of the maintenance yard area to include the garbage bins. I was disappointed with how unsightly the dog relief areas around the LP tennis courts and ES pickleball courts became. It appears the areas were overused. 201. More important to maintain hot tubs and other amenities than to try to make resort “look good”. Satellite hot tubs often too scummy or cold or whatever to use. Need to put ultraviolet treatment system in these facilities. Keep the restrooms at acceptable temperature. I had to ask several times to get heat turned on this winter and to get windows closed! Now heat in warmer weather is excessive and people leave doors open, a waste of money for the resort. PLEASE notify residents of upcoming changes BEFORE they happen. Satellite rest rooms were closed with NO notice, as were restrooms in clubhouses. NOT acceptable. Notice of EMERGENCY meeting sent with no results for over a day. 202. I have been disappointed in the weekly mowing, trimming, blowing etc. Sometimes good, other times I have had to do quite a bit of clean up. The condition of the washers and dryers in my satellite and others was very poor this season. Overall, I enjoy my time at Outdoor Resorts and recommend it to my friends. 203. Fix sewer smell by Bella Roma. Plant half of the flowers but in all of the existing areas (cost savings). Provide proper dog relief areas. Install more desert scape on the sides of golf fairways (cost savings). Keep HOA fees under $400.00 per month by doing cost savings. If fees get too high property values will decrease. Affordable is key. 204. I am a new owner in March 2020. Going forward it is my intent to spend 6 months a year at the resort and will make use of all the facilities except golf, unless there is a driving range or putting area in the future. I am not a golfer but have played the occasional game while working at a ski golf tennis resort for 12 years in Quebec Canada. 205. As we strive to continue to be a 5 Star Premium RV Resort, we feel we need to upgrade facilities, like the restaurant, and get back to the park being a resort vs either a FT or PT permanent residence for some people...we are getting closer and closer to the park becoming a trailer park. Many lots are overgrown or out of compliance and some are not esthetically pleasing to look at. 206. The one thing the resort badly needs is more and better places for dog owners to take their pets, this would go a long way in solving the present pet problems. 207. Convert common areas to desert landscape. Less water and maintenance. Street surface is slowly deteriorating. 208. Trim hedging along boarder walls down to the height of the brick wall to enhance views. Reduce temp. of ES lap pool to 80-81f, remove ~50% of golf course grass and replace w/ 'desert look' material...DG, etc., etc. Turn off all pool heaters effective 4/15...or as outdoor temps warrant.
