398. So many Owners are going to Desert Scape on their lots - so I'd like to see grass areas remain on common lots, etc. That's what attracted us: the beautiful lawns on the golf courses, common areas along with the Flowers!! We definitely need improved dog runs. A screened canopy (roof) across the 4 pens would be great from the Sun or Rain (all year round) to accommodate pets and their owners!! The artificial turf gets very hot during the summer months that we have to hose it down before our pet can go into the stall! So some shade would really help! 399. If you are trying to save money, why are you not looking at all of the additional staff that has been hired this year rather than gardening. We operated just fine when volunteer's and paid owner's handled some of these responsibilities. This is after all our resort. I have a particular interest in Activities. Those running the activities office are unprofessional and many times quite rude. They remind me of a high school click..."mean girls (a terrible movie but appropriate term)" 400. My feeling is resort fees are much too high for renters. Even though we don’t personally rent out our unit, I truly think we are losing many renters because of the newer higher fees. Seems to me many rental signs up and many vacant lots. Any money we get from them is bonus as we already get the HOA fees from the owners. Think we are cutting our throats. 401. I never attend anymore – my wife passed away Jan, 2019. 402. Do not raise cost of HOA. The back walls should be raised for security reasons. 403. When making a decision that will improve the Resort, like the pickleball issues last year, you can’t let 1 or 2 people who complain control what’s best for the Resort. It can’t take 3 years to get it approved. We were a joke to potential new buyers who wanted to play the fastest growing sport in America and Canada. Example, if every RV park has lawn darts, put in lawn darts. That’s how you become 5-star. 404. A late in life divorce has turned my world upside down. I may yet have to liquidate, at a substantial loss. The requirement what all RVs over 15 years old is discriminatory and unfair. My unfortunate circumstances are being exacerbated by this less than good faith, unfair, absurd rule. 405. You do a good job at keeping Resort up. More variety at Bella Roma. 406. I do not think that we need a golf professional – the golf people in the shack can run it as it is. And the golf committee do a good job running the golf activities needed for Tuesdays and Thursday’s golf. Extra expense for t his position is not needed and can be used to reduce costs elsewhere! Use to decrease HOA dues instead! 407. We do not need a golf professional – golf starters only should be needed. Money saved should be used to decrease HOA dues. 408. One of the most important items I think we need is a paid, skilled communications person where that is her only job. Much of the grumbling, dissatisfaction and rumors are due to the lack of coordinated communications.
