MEDIA FACILITIES Located in the Media and Music departments, the campus has three recording studios and filming spaces. In September 2021 we launched our new Gaming & Creative Digital Studios with over 60 high-end gaming/media PCs and dedicated gaming/Esports facilities throughout. HSDC ALTON NURSERY The aim of the HSDC Alton Nursery is to provide daycare for the children of staff and students during working hours which is safe, stimulating and caring. Children aged between six months and five years of age attend and there is space for 28 children at a time. PHOTOGRAPHY STUDIO We are proud of the three exceptionally well- resourced photography lighting studios and very large darkroom, which accommodate many experimental processes such as light trails, photograms and experimental techniques. SONARDYNE CENTRE The state-of-the-art Sonardyne Centre for Engineering and Design Technology houses industry-standard machinery and equipment for Our welcoming Student Hub and Reception provide an open plan environment for you to easily access the Student Services and Student Welfare teams. If you have any queries about your timetable, transport, careers, university applications or want some additional support, our friendly teams will be happy to help. WESSEX ARTS CENTRE Enjoy a variety of performances in our professional theatre throughout the year, put on by our Performing Arts and Drama students. The Centre also includes two modern dance studios. EAT CENTRAL There’s a wide variety of food and drink on offer from Eat Central and the Deli counter. Whatever your dietary requirements, you can find something to suit you.
