FOCUS ON HEAT PUMPS
The Aerona R290 air-source heat pump range features five models with outputs from 4kW to 16kW.
“The Aerona R290 heat pump marks a significant development
Aerona R290 range amongst plumbers and installers including: • Easy to install: Installers report it is the simplest heat pump on the market to connect, with only two cables required. • Built-in features: A built-in immersion and high-capacity 9m head PWM circulating pump link with the R290’s software. This ensures a 5°C Delta T is maintained at all stages, which in turn ensures the correct flow rate and efficiency is maintained. • Advanced monitoring software: Models can be monitored and managed remotely, giving both installers and their customers the convenience of fully controlling their heat pump system and the ability to provide offsite diagnostic support when required. • Accompanying smart controls: The Aerona Smart Controller is a weather-compensating control that has the ability to independently adjust the heating curves for up to
seven heating zones, all individually controlled. The smart controls allow remote access and monitoring, thus allowing the system to be fine-tuned if required. The remote diagnostics also allow any potential faults to be identified and allow the installer a one-visit fix if ever needed. Barry Gorman, Grant’s National Renewable Sales Manager, said, “The Aerona R290 heat pump marks a significant development in sustainable home heating within our product portfolio.
