The YMCA in Rockland as been a branch dojang (school) of the Tae E. Lee Tae Kwon Do martial arts franchise for the past couple of years. Tae kwon do (TKD) is a Korean mar- tial arts that emphasizes kicking techniques and is split into two separate styles, the World Tae Kwon Do Federation (WTF) and the International Tae Kwon Do Federation (ITF). The Tae E. Lee school offers WTF style tae kwon do and the Clarence-Rockland YMCA program has swelled in numbers to the point that it is the second-largest YMCA TKD program in Ontario with more than
