Associate members of the Appraisal Institute are individuals who engage in activity governed by the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice and who may be pursuing an Appraisal Institute professional membership designation. All members agree to abide by the organization’s Code of Professional Ethics and Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (which include the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice). The Appraisal Institute’s mission is to advance professionalism and ethics, global standards, methodologies, and practices through the professional development of property economics worldwide.
