In 1970, NAI CIR was the first and only firm in Central Pennsylvania with such a focus. Since then, the commercial and industrial real estate in- dustry has become special- ized and consolidated, with some very large multinational corporations working in of- fices worldwide with tens of thousands of employees. NAI CIR, however, has maintained local ownership. Although the company is affiliated with NAI Global — the world’s largest managed network of commer- cial real estate firms — its focus remains on serving Central Pennsylvania. “We have been here so long that we have developed very deep local ties,” said President Robin Zellers . “We have been very successful locally and na- tionally.” His company represents buyers, sellers, landlords and tenants in acquisitions and dispositions, investment sales, leasing/subleasing, sale/lease- backs, site selection, build- to-suits, analysis, market re- search, consulting, strategic planning and property man- agement. NAI CIR’s long list of ac- colades includes numerous CoStar Power Broker Awards, as well as several honors from NAI Global. “The president of NAI Global has called us one of the top 5 percent of NAI firms worldwide,” Zellers said. “That is a big accomplishment.” n NAI CIR celebrates 45 years

The sale price is not disclosed at this time. “A property like this, with a strong-credit, corporate- owned retailer like Mattress Warehouse with a long-term lease in effect, was bound to attract significant interest,” said McClernon, senior vice president with CBRE’s In- vestment Properties division. “This site is adjacent to other strong national retailers, in- cluding Costco, Lowe’s, and Best Buy. Combined with its easy access and high vis-
ibility to the US-30 Bypass, the fundamentals for both the property and the region are strong.” The Mattress Warehouse property is located at the corner of Hempstead Rd. and Pitney Rd. just off of Rte. 30. It is situated along a high- traffic retail corridor in Lan- caster County. The company opened its first retail location in 1989 in Frederick, Mary- land, and now has more than 180 stores throughout the east coast. 1831 Hempstead Rd. is one of the company’s newest locations. n
