The Right Place welcomes new Business Development team members
Jodi Nichols has joined The Right Place team as a Business Development Coordinator for Lake and Oceana counties, where she provides business support services to prospective and existing companies. Jodi works to improve the overall economic state of the two counties. Prior to joining The Right Place, Jodi spent more than 20 years in community development with organizations like United Way of the Lakeshore and Muskegon County Habitat for Humanity. Jodi Nichols Rafael Martinez Rafael Martinez works as a Business Research Analyst for the Business Development team at The Right Place. In this role, he provides business intelligence and economic research for the organization, investors, and stakeholders. Prior to joining The Right Place team, Rafael worked as a Research Assistant for the Julian Samora Research institute, and as Operations Officer for the Hispanic Center of Western Michigan. Ayesha Maxwell AyeshaMaxwell recently joined the Business Development teamas a Senior Business Development Manager for Kent County. Ayesha provides retention and expansion assistance to businesses in food, agribusiness, and furniture manufacturing. Prior to joining The Right Place, Ayesha worked for the Detroit Economic Growth Corporation, where she supported business development efforts. She has also worked as a small business consultant, Brownfield manager, and spent 10 years as a senior communications specialist for the State of Michigan.
