River Creek Farms - Spring SimAngus Bull Sale [2/11/26]

BUILT TO WORK At River Creek Farms, our breeding philosophy is grounded in one simple principle: every bull we sell should deliver a measurable return on investment for our buyers. This isn’t just a goal— it’s a promise backed by decades of experience, data, and a commitment to excellent service. L ongevity is a critical factor in a bull’s ROI. At River Creek Farms, we breed, develop, and handle our bulls to maximize their productive lifespan, ensuring that every bull not only performs but performs for years to come. CALVING EASE At River Creek Farms, our bulls are selected to sire calves that come easily, get up

quickly, and go to work early, reducing labor, stress, and risk at calving time. Our cows calve unassisted on native grass, validating calving ease in real time. We have prioritized calving ease without sacrificing growth for more than 50 years. By combining proven Simmental and Angus genetics, the result is fewer problems at birth and more live, thriving calves on the ground, year after year. DISPOSITION A bull’s disposition directly impacts both safety and productivity. We practice a low- stress handling system throughout our operation. From an early age, our bulls are exposed to human interaction in controlled environments, fostering familiarity and reducing flight responses. The result is bulls that our customers say are calm, cooperative, and accustomed to working in close quarters. MATING FLEXIBILTY At River Creek Farms, you have options when it comes to the level of Simmental influence in your cow herd. Whether your goal is predominantly Angus-influenced calves, 50/50 SimAngus, or purebred Simmental, our bulls are built to fit your program. We offer a large selection ranging from 1/4 and 3/8 Simmental bulls to purebred Simmental and Angus options, with the majority of our offering centered around practical, proven 1/2-blood SimAngus bulls.

BULL DEVELOPMENT Our approach begins during the post- weaning growth phase, where bulls are raised on grass with limited resources. This targeted development encourages slow, steady skeletal growth, producing bulls with strong feet and sound structures. By focusing on building skeletal strength and athleticism early, we create bulls that can responsibly add muscle and pounds during testing and thrive under demanding conditions for the long haul. HYBRID VIGOR At River Creek Farms, we harness the power of hybrid vigor to create bulls that blend the maternal strength and structural soundness of Simmental genetics with the carcass quality and efficiency of Angus. Crossbreeding reduces the incidence of common challenges like hoof and fertility issues while increasing a bull’s productive lifespan. The result? Bulls that deliver higher ROI by lasting longer and performing better across a range of conditions.
