ACCESS Appoints New Executive Director Carrie Borgen Medford, OR | December 7, 2020 | Press Release A CCESS is excited to announce the appointment of Carrie Borgen as Executive Director. Carrie Borgen brings over 20 years' experience as an executive for a nonprofit organization and various venture

capital-backed start-ups and Fortune 100 healthcare companies to ACCESS. She draws on her experiences to lead organizations that serve vulnerable populations, maximizing available funding, and innovating programs. To achieve this objective, it is essential that the staff knows they are valued, can maintain a healthy life balance, and have opportunities to flourish in their careers. Borgen has a Master of Business Administration from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor's Degree in Management Systems from California State University. She is an Arizona-state licensed CPA, beginning her career as an Ernst & Young and Deloitte & Touche consultant. Knowing little about Jackson County, Borgen spent time meeting with the ACCESS Board and leadership team and exploring the area. "Relocating from Scottsdale, Arizona, to lead a well-respected organization that provides essential life-saving services to vulnerable populations as well as working with an outstanding leadership team and supportive Board, was an easy and exciting decision," says Borgen. "2020 has been a challenging year for everyone in the Rogue Valley, and ACCESS could not be more excited to have Carrie as our next leader.", says J.R. Wheeler, Chair of the Board of Directors at ACCESS.
