Two Weeks Left to Submit Applications to Present at the 2021 Oregon Fringe Festival! E ach spring, the Oregon Center for the Arts produces the Oregon Fringe Festival, a multi-day event bringing together emerging creators and real-world artistic practitioners to share their respective experiences and to engage with each other’s artwork. The festival’s mission is simple: to provide a boundary-breaking platform for free expression and to celebrate conventional art in unconventional spaces and unconventional art in conventional spaces. This year, we are excited to announce that the OFF will include live virtual performances, artist lectures/workshops, pre-recorded virtual performances, and outdoor non- virtual performances as long as it is safe and permitting. As planning continues, we will be working extensively to ensure a safe experience for our contributing artists and audience. WHAT: 2021 Oregon Fringe Festival (OFF) Application WHEN: • The OFF will take place Thursday, April 29 - Saturday, May 1, 2021 in Ashland, Oregon. • The application deadline is Midnight, Monday, December 28, 2020. • SOU students and faculty may continue to apply through Wednesday, January 13, 2021. • Late submissions will not be considered. This is a free, virtual, and in-person event. Submission fees do not apply.
