EXECUTIVE DIRECTORS 4 NEW ADVANCEMENTS
Tyler & Alex Hage CALIFORNIA A Family Business
Today, Alex’s kids have gotten to know many of those leaders. Alex encourages them to get involved. “They know exactly what Mommy does,” Alex says, “and they help with many different tasks. My daughter sends text messages for me. She writes thank-you cards. My son helps me create awesome videos. They could probably recognize all the top builders in my team by their voices!” Alex gives all of the credit to her husband, Tyler, for his unstinting support as she builds her Melaleuca business from home. He clears the way for her to focus on her team when she needs to—and helps the kids stay aware and involved. “He plays a huge role on top of a huge job,” she says. “His efforts make this a family business.” In fact, Tyler and the kids have been involved in the business ever since day one. “They’ve gotten to watch me start this since I had literally zero customers and zero experience in building a Melaleuca business,” Alex says. “They’ve been there for every step, every high, every low, every advancement. They’re always right there, cheering me on. We have a lot of fun! Melaleuca has changed all of our lives. We’ve all learned the power of hard work, sticking to it, and believing in yourself.” That’s why Alex and her Fast Track team members decided to go all in. Each wants to build a future of wellness for their family— and day by day, they’re helping each other reach their goals. JC
For Alex Hage, Melaleuca is very much a family matter. At the time of writing, Alex is expecting her fifth child! In fact, her baby is due right when the Paradisus Fast Track is scheduled to wrap up. “I told my team to get ready,” she laughs. “It will be a sprint to the finish!” Some months after Alex began sharing Melaleuca with others, she had an aha moment. “I had a day when I decided I wasn’t just going to talk about the products,” she says. “I was a little scared at the beginning to share the entire Melaleuca Overview. I was focused on enrolling new customers and didn’t want to scare them away by mentioning the business opportunity. But I realized that I couldn’t make that decision for them. They needed to decide for themselves whether they were a Category 1, 2, or 3. My job was to give them the information they needed. “Once I got into that mindset, I started developing Directors on a monthly basis. Now it’s something I train my team to do. Don’t prejudge! Just present the information with confidence and passion, then let the person decide.”
