When Katey enrolled, Fast Track was just getting started and she jumped right into it, learning the ropes of building her business during the contest. “I think that has been a huge part of my success because it set me up for how I should always be running my business,” she says. This culture of working hard and staying focused has set Katey up for long-term success—and it’s a strategy that will work for anyone. “There’s no losing when you participate in Fast Track,” she says. “You’re moving your business forward, whether you earn a prize at the end or not. Any advancement for a Melaleuca Marketing Executive is exciting. No advancement happens without effort and discipline. However, advancing to Executive Director 3 marks a new tier of development for Marketing Executives as it requires the Marketing Executive to develop a Senior Director in their organization. That means new Executive Director 3 Katey Kloepper is a leader of leaders. “It’s one thing when you can control your own business,” Katey says. “I know what I do in a day. I know how to help new customers shop at Melaleuca. But helping someone become a leader on the business side of Melaleuca requires a lot more than that. There’s an emotional aspect that goes into it, as well as helping team members navigate becoming a leader, stepping into that role, and helping them develop others as well.” To reach this new level of leadership, Katey works closely with those in her organization who are moving toward Senior Director. She checks in with each of them daily and helps them navigate obstacles in their paths while encouraging them to
