EXECUTIVE DIRECTORS 2 NEW ADVANCEMENTS
Nolan & Jenna Trudeau ALBERTA Success without Fulfillment Equals Failure
When Jenna was with her previous company, before finding Melaleuca, she felt like she never made a lot of progress. Especially because that other company made her feel anxious and masked people's progress with smoke and mirrors. Now Jenna feels like Melaleuca has brought out the best in her and Nolan. “Nolan might not be building the business directly with me yet,” Jenna says, “but I love watching him be a hands-on dad. He supports me like no other.” Jenna loves that with her Melaleuca business, she has been able to spend more time with family. It’s also allowed the Trudeaus to get their children involved in ice sports, something Jenna recognizes she couldn’t do without the extra income she gets from Melaleuca. Jenna considers herself and Nolan to be what she calls professional friend makers. She says the best way to grow a Melaleuca business is to continually add to your contact list. “Whether we’re connecting through social media or in person, we always try to add value to their lives on top of trying to be a great friend,” Jenna explains. She also encourages new builders to never make assumptions. “Don’t ever assume that someone isn’t open to making extra income,” Jenna says. “Always give people the big picture because people need what we have.”
Jenna Trudeau knows what she’s talking about when it comes to health and wellness. Her background is in holistic nutrition, and she has a long history of helping people make their health a priority. For almost eight years, she partnered that knowledge with a party-planning direct sales company; so when she met with Executive Director 8 Jessi Harris, she wasn’t ready for a change. “I felt burnt out and couldn’t take on anything else,” Jenna says. “It took me a year and a half to finally say yes .” For Jenna, the switch couldn’t have come at a better time. She had been feeling successful but ultimately unfulfilled, and she was living paycheck to paycheck. Finally, she knew she had to make a decision. “I just got real with myself,” Jenna recalls. “I said ‘ Jessi’s trying to share a wicked-good opportunity with me. Why not hear her out and take a look?’ After I did, it was game on!” Starting a Melaleuca business has made a huge improvement in Jenna and her family's lives. “It’s gotten me out of my comfort zone and leveled up my emotional maturity and leadership skills,” she says. “And it's brought my family a lot of peace and certainty.”
