EXECUTIVE DIRECTORS 6 NEW ADVANCEMENTS
Anthony & Breeana Gallegos NEW MEXICO One Question: How Much Do You Want to Achieve Your Dream Life?
Breeana’s first goal was to hit Senior Director and start taking advantage of the Car Bonus. This way, she could replace her aging, less-than-safe car that drove like it could permanently break down at any moment. “Driving the kids around in that thing was too stressful,” she says. Breeana’s next goal was to pay off all her credit card debt—a goal she hit last month! “It doesn’t even feel real, but my husband and I were able to pay off $23,000 in credit card debt in one sitting,” she says. “This month, I’m paying off the rest of our loans (amounting to $10,000), and then we won’t have any outstanding credit card or loan debt.” When Breeana first enrolled in Melaleuca, she never dreamed that her goals could be achieved so quickly. “This company has changed my life in every way,” she says. “I tell new members of my team this as well—that while you’re developing a business, you’re also developing who you are as a person. This is a marathon of self-improvement.” Part of that journey is becoming more resilient to rejection. “The yeses are going to build your business, but the noes are going to build you," Breanna shares. “Never take a no personally,” she says. “We have an amazing thing here, and the people who are meant to see that will be proud to join you on this journey.”
Executive Director 6 Breeana Gallegos had been a stay-at-home mom for 12 years when she found Melaleuca. At that time, the Gallegos family was finding that one income just wasn’t enough to sustain their growing family, so they relied on the kindness of Breeana’s grandparents for periodic essentials, such as groceries and school clothes. “I hate asking for money,” Breeana says. “I wanted to financially contribute, but my husband and I didn’t want to have to put our youngest kids in day care.” Melaleuca seemed like a great solution—but Breeana had no idea how beneficial building a wellness business would turn out to be. While Breeana had zero experience with a referral-based business, she was more than willing to learn from those with proven experience. “I was very, very coachable,” she says. “Right out of the gate, I decided I was going to be relentless in changing our lives. I leaned on my team, and I got really comfortable stepping out of my comfort zone to share Melaleuca with anyone and everyone.”
