PRESENTED BY Rafael Rojas Corporate Director 8 I AM MELALEUCA

Melaleuca can change your life. It did for me. When people see my accomplishments, they ask me how I did it. I mention Melaleuca, and they say, “Oh, so you’re a part of Melaleuca?” And I respond by saying that no, I AM MELALEUCA. It is a part of me and who I am. And it can be a part of you. There are lots of people out there who are looking for what we have, and they’re never going to know about it if you stay quiet.

to go to New York, but I had spent all my money getting to Texas and I didn’t have enough for a bus ticket. The furthest I could get was Dallas. Once I got there, I was completely broke. I had to sleep on the street. That was my lowest moment. To make things worse, I didn’t know English. But I found someone who spoke Spanish. He directed me to a church where a kind priest took me in. There’s a power to internalizing Melaleuca in our lives. Let me tell you my story. I am not originally from the United States. I grew up in Mexico. When I was sixteen, my dad sent me one-way to Spain because he

wanted me to experience his homeland. It didn’t take long before I felt homesick, so I purchased a return ticket home. When I arrived home, my parents were shocked—but not as surprised as I was to find out they had rented out my room. I asked my parents what to do, and my father said, “Find a new home.” So I attempted to convince some of my friends to go to the United States with me. Everyone eventually made excuses for why they couldn’t go. But I was determined because I had nowhere else to go. I took a train to Laredo, Texas (don’t worry, I entered legally). I wanted
