There are a few things we need to accomplish together before sending you on your way, including managing your travel reservation, informing you of immunizations you may be interested in getting, viewing our Camp Life Prep video, or signing up for a zoom meeting with your mission account manager. TRAVEL We know that traveling almost 8,000 miles across the globe is no small feat. At Family Legacy, we take pride in getting you from point A to point B with ease. Please refer below for a review of our travel process. STEP 1: CONFIRM YOUR TRAVEL INFORMATION This step should be a review for most of you, as all Camp Life flights should be confirmed and purchased by now. As a reminder, if your Camp Life flights were purchased after January 31st, you may be subject to additional flight charges due to increases in flight costs.* • Travel dates | Including sponsorship event and/or side trip dates. Many of you have chosen to enhance your Camp Life experience by adding on a sponsorship event or a side trip. These details should be well underway by now! For your side trip, we hope that you have chosen to work with SafariScapes, Family Legacy’s preferred travel agency. We are working closely with SafariScapes to ensure every detail of your trip is planned out perfectly. If you have chosen to work with a different travel partner, please be sure to let us know the details of your itinerary once it’s finalized so that we can book your international flights, help you arrange your airport transportation, etc. If you need any assistance finalizing the details for your add-on trip, please reach out to your Missions Account Manager. • Departure and arrival city • Any other travel preferences | Extended layovers in Dubai, business class, etc. • Review your passport details STEP 2: MANAGING YOUR FLIGHTS Once your travel dates and preferences are confirmed, we can proceed to the next step: booking your flights. Most of you have booked your flights and received your final travel documents allowing you to view and manage your flights on the Emirates website. Your final travel documents are also available on your Trip Dashboard under Resources. Your Camp Life international flights are booked using the passport name you provided when applying for Camp Life. Please visit your trip dashboard to ensure the name listed on your application matches the name on your passport. If you need to make a change to your passport name, please reach out to your Mission Account Manager. *Please note: if there are any errors or changes needed to the name on your flight itinerary, you will be financially responsible for those changes.
