2025 Bylaws FINAL_single-page format

This procedure will be utilized to control access to the first tees. The placement of balls near the first tee is not used to indicate order of play.

PACE OF PLAY

During peak play periods, the Professional Staff will monitor and enforce the pace of play. Players should play at a prompt pace throughout the round. Players are both allowed and encouraged to play “ready golf” in a safe and responsible way. Each player should recognize that his or her pace of play affects others, including in the player’s own group and those in following groups. Please prepare in advance for each stroke and move promptly between strokes and in going to the next tee.

PULL CARTS/TROLLEYS

1. Pull carts may be obtained from the Starter’s Desk. 2. Only Club pull carts may be utilized. 3. No personal pull carts are allowed. GOLF CARTS

A player must be 16 years of age or older in order to rent or operate a golf cart. The Club reserves the right to not rent a cart to anyone deemed unqualified to operate the vehicle. Handling of, and riding on, a golf cart requires strict attention to the rules governing cart safety. When the Director of Golf Courses and Grounds imposes golf cart restrictions, it is done for sound reasons, i.e., for turf protection, to minimize damage, and to diminish the time and cost required to repair damage. Carts should be kept on paved paths surrounding greens and tees at all times, regardless of weather conditions. Members have the obligation to inquire and be aware of the restrictions for golf cart usage on a day they are employing a cart. Cart restrictions are listed daily on the ForeTees app. Please note: o Golf carts are limited to two riders and two golf bags. o Members are responsible for the actions of their guests. o When carts are permitted on the South Course, enter the fairways and minimize driving in the rough. o Carts should be kept on the path near greens and tees at all times. o When a cart path is not present at a green or tee, keep carts a minimum of 30 feet or ten yards from the playing surface. o When driving or parking on a cart path, be certain all four wheels of the cart are on the path. o When searching for a golf ball in the rough, please park the cart and search on foot.
