For men, collared shirts are preferred. Athletic tee shirts in good condition are allowed but must be in good taste with no reference to alcohol or profanity. Tank tops, sleeveless shirts, undershirts, and fishnet shirts are prohibited. Shorts must be above the knee. Sports team jerseys (e.g. basketball) are not permitted. Women may wear sleeveless tops and tank tops designed for racquet sports. No athletic “sports bra” tops are permitted without additional cover-up. The Pro Shop merchandise can be a guideline for what is appropriate on the squash court. Black-soled running shoes are prohibited. Protective eyewear is mandatory during all squash play. Children should dress in a similar manner established for adults.
Please note that certain racquets attire is not acceptable in the Casual Dining and Terrace areas.
PADDLE TENNIS RULES
1. All court reservations will be made through the Racquet Shop or online at www.foretees.com/wilmington/ 2. Reservations are made in 30-minute increments, with a maximum of 90 minutes of court time. 3. Courts are to be reserved on the one- and one-half-hour period. 4. Reservations will be permitted only one (1) week in advance. 5. Member’s names must be listed for each court reservation. 6. A fee per guest will be charged to the member. A guest must be registered before playing. Guests may play up to two (2) times per month on the paddle courts. 7. All tournaments will be handled through the Racquet Shop. 8. The Paddle Tennis Club Championships will be a self-scheduled event held during January and February. There are doubles and mixed doubles divisions for Adults in both “A” and “B” divisions. The winners of a particular “B” division must play with a different partner for one (1) year. The Paddle Professional will have the discretion to determine the Club championship format and draws. 9. The use of protective eyewear is encouraged during paddle tennis play.
SWIMMING POOL RULES
The swimming pool is open for Memorial Day weekend and closed from the day after Memorial Day through the following Friday. On the Saturday
