Laci Budd is the Senior Marketing Specialist at BHC, a fast-growing civil engineering and surveying firm with offices across Kansas in Overland Park, Kansas City, and Wichita. Laci supports the overall marketing team through creative content design, managing social me- dia, event planning, business development, and proposal development. Her projects include managing the company’s advertising activities, website support, graphic design, client re- lations, and external communications. She co-chairs the company’s newly formed and em- ployee-led DEI Committee, where ideas are generated to educate and enhance diversity, equity, and inclusion practices at BHC. Laci has spent the last five years in the A/E/C indus - try, where she is active in the SMPS Kansas City Chapter. She recently completed the CPSM certification exam, awarding her a promotion to Senior Marketing Specialist. Laci graduated from the University of Central Missouri in 2009 with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing. She always knew she wanted a job in marketing where she could be creative, and every day would be a new challenge. After college, she spent seven years in the civic sector working for the second-largest county in Missouri. Currently, she lives with her husband in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and enjoys summers at the lake, traveling, and music.
