New site brings video features & CCT’s full network of advocacy websites into a single hub Carpenter Contractor Trust launches redesigned website to showcase union craftsmanship
HILADELPHIA, PA — The Carpenter Contractor Trust (CCT) announced the launch of a redesigned website at cct- marketing.org, giving contrac- tors, developers and policy- makers a single destination to explore the value of the union carpenter workforce across the Eastern Atlantic States. The new site consolidates CCT’s growing library of resources into one place. Visitors can: • Browse a full collection of one-pagers covering topics from apprenticeship programs P
an apprentice. • Watch original video fea - tures, including the Contrac- tor Spotlight series profiling signatory contractors and the union carpenters who work alongside them. • Follow and listen to the Labor Lounge, CCT’s monthly podcast cohosted by Cyndie Williams , executive director of the CCT, and An- thony Abrantes , assistant executive Secretary-Treasur- er for the Eastern Atlantic State Regional Council of Carpenters . “This site is built to make it
easy for anyone to see the full scope of what union carpenters and their contractor part- ners deliver,” Williams said. “Whether someone is looking for a one-pager to bring into a meeting or an episode of the Labor Lounge to listen to on a job site, we wanted all of it in one place.” The new site, which is op- timized for all platform and devices, also connects visitors to CCT’s full network of ad- vocacy websites, each built to advance union construction on a specific front: • EAS Carpenters, the home of the Eastern Atlantic States Regional Council of Carpenters • Find a Union Contractor, a directory connecting devel- opers with union-signatory contractors • What Is a PLA, an educa - tional resource on project labor agreements • EAS Data Centers, cov - ering the union workforce behind mission-critical data center construction • Responsible Wind En - ergy, focused on union labor in offshore and onshore wind projects • Separations Act, tracking Pennsylvania’s public con- struction bidding law “Each of these sites tells a different piece of the story, but they all point back to the same mission,” Williams said. “Bringing them together on our own homepage makes that connection clear for anyone who visits.” The CCT is a labor manage- ment trust that represents a partnership between union carpenters and signatory con- tractors across the Eastern Atlantic States, connecting a workforce of more than 42,000 skilled union carpenters with the developers and policymak- ers who build the region’s infrastructure. The EAS Car- penters cover six states – New Jersey, Maryland, Pennsylva- nia, Delaware, West Virginia and Virginia – as well as the District of Columbia. The new website was de- signed and built by Whitmer Consulting and MediaCut- let , firms that, among other projects, partner with union councils and trade associa- tions across the country to build brands, campaigns and digital platforms that advance the case for organized labor and contractors.
