The Seaway Valley Theater Company (SVTC) will soon take to the stage with their newest play Lend me a Tenor . The play, written by Ken Ludwig, is a farce featuring a cast of eight members. It is the biggest night in the history of the Cleveland Grand Opera Company. The world famous tenor, Tito Merelli, is to perform his greatest role, Otello. But when he arrives for his performance, it becomes painfully clear that he is in a shaky state and suffers from terrible stomach aches. Yet, by the end of the show, every character is filled with a sense that they just might get the thing each of them desires. The play runs from October 14 to October 29. Tickets are available at svtc.theticketwicket.ca. Pictured is Jenna Clute as Maggie, Lesley Ellam as Julia and Paul Aubin as the bellhop. — supplied photo Students help out Apples and Arts
