Co-Branding Opportunities
Increase efforts for Co-Branding and introduction/joining with clients specifically on social media. In working with Country Air, Gerardo initiated a call with Amanda Trickey, Country Air Marketing and myself to share marketing ideas. They are primarily marketing our AMBlue so I was able to give her our latest AMBlue collateral and direct her to our AMBlue social media posts. In return Amanda is tagging us on social media platforms we are currently on and some we are not. This introduction has been successful in sharing social media and opening conversations when Amanda is in need of marketing collateral for their efforts. If you missed Amanda’s JPL AMBlue video here it is on TikTok https://www.tiktok.com/@countryair/ video/7102156677784374574?is_from_webapp=1&sender_device=pc&web_id=7138910687705564718 As a test, we just started a JPL TikTok page, https://www.tiktok.com/@jplamborn?lang=en It is a private account at the moment however, with TikTok being the fastest growing social media platform in the world with over 1 billion users and claiming title to the most downloaded app in the first two quarters of 2022. TikTok isn’t just for kids anymore! The same goes for LinkedIn and Facebook. Although we are seeing Facebook falling by the side and not as widely used, LinkedIn is still the powerhouse social media for business. Both LinkedIn and TikTok have a majority of users that consume content more than create content. Why is this significant for JPL and our customers? Well, this is good news! Since both these platforms have far more users that use the platform just to consume content, it means we have a much better chance of standing out when we post on LinkedIn or TikTok than we do when posting on platforms such as Facebook or Instagram. Combining efforts in social media with our customers or customers’ customers, paying attention to opportunities to serve them better and for them to become more loyal as we help them to become successful in their business. Partnering with sales and moving marketing forward to customers, distributors, etc. Share introductions to encourage helping our customers receive our branding to achieve the best possible outcome. Recently Kurt included me in a conversation with Carl from TF Ehrhart Company, not only was I able to get him the right logos for his website update, but product photos to use on their website. He also converted his JPL Advantage section from straight verbiage to the JPL Advantage image we use for a better look. We have contracted with Denver Data Web https://denverdata.com/ to update and regain a professional, user friendly atmosphere for our website. The first step in the process was to give access to DDW to our current website, allowing them to peruse what we already have in place customer facing and behind the scenes. It was found that we were running extremely old plugins along with outdated Wordpress which is causing some of the strange behavior we notice time to time. After these findings, we are doing a completely new site. The old site will stay active while the new site is being developed, tested and launched. The next step was to develop the architecture of the new site after giving DDW a full understanding of who JPL is and what we do. We then moved to the Architecture phase which is where we are currently finishing.
