DNA and EPDs: The Red Angus Association of America updates EPDs on a weekly basis. The most current EPDs for these bulls will be available on Tuesday, April 28 – the Tuesday of sale week. Bulls have DNA verified parentage and all EPDs are enhanced via the GGP-LD test. Volume Discount Number Purchased Discount 1 None 2 2.5% 3+ 5% Breeding Soundness Exam: Bulls will be evaluated for breeding soundness prior to the sale by Badlands Veterinary Service. All bulls with unsatisfactory performance or those unable to test will be removed from the sale. Certificates of satisfactory exam performance will be made available for viewing online. Semen Interest: We will retain a 50% semen interest in select bulls (noted on relevant lots). This retained interest allows us to collect the bull and use the semen in our herd – at the buyer’s convenience and our expense. Additionally, this interest allows us to share in any revenue generated by semen sales. The buyer receives 50% semen interest, full walking rights, and full salvage rights. Identification: Each bull comes with 4 forms of identification. An eartag, tattoo, and freeze brand all containing the same number, and they each have a unique EID tag on file with the Red Angus Association of America.
DV Auction is hosting the online only sale. The sale will begin closing May 1, 2026 at 7:00pm MST. All lots for this event will close at the same time. If a bid on any lot is placed within 5 minutes of the closing time, closing time for the sale (and all lots) will be extended to 5 minutes after that bid. This continues until no bids are placed for 5 minutes. They will receive a breeding shot at their breeding soundness exam. Bulls were poured with ivermectin and CleanUp II. Bulls will or have tested free of: bovine trichomoniasis (trich), bovine viral diarrhea (BVD), osteopetrosis (OS), and alpha- mannosidosis (MA). Delivery: Free delivery is available within 300 miles of Wall, SD. We will work to consolidate loads and may ask that buyers meet us at centralized locations.
