Supported Employment refers to service provisions wherein people with disabilities, including intellectual disabilities, mental health, and traumatic brain injury, among others, are assisted with obtaining and maintaining employment originally through the primary models of job crews, enclaves, or the often preferred job coach or person-centered approaches. Supported employment is considered to be one form of employment in which wages are expected, together with benefits from an employer in a competitive workplace, though some versions refer to disability agency paid employment. United Youth Care Services United Youth Care Services is committed to be involved in the communities that we serve. We strive to provide an array of services, supports, and resources so that our consumers can acquire the skills the need to live more successfully in their community. United Youth Care Services has created a network with various community stake holders. We continue to arrange and coordinate links so that our neighborhoods can be equipped with providers that are most interested in their needs. United Youth Care Services’ Intensive Outpatient Program (SAIOP) is an intensive day treatment option for adults dually diagnosed with chemical addiction disorders and co-occurring major mental illnesses. The curriculum incorporates chemical addiction treatments, including Twelve Step facilitation and Motivational Interviewing, with Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills and other cognitive and behavioral health approaches. United Youth Care Services’ Comprehensive Outpatient Treatment Program (SACOT) means structured individual and group addiction activities and services that are provided at an outpatient program designed to assist adult to begin recovery and learn skills for recovery maintenance.

The goal of PSR is to teach individuals, who struggle with mental health issues, things that they can do

to reach their maximum level of independence. As such, PSR services are performed in the home, school and

children function better on a day to day basis. PSR focuses strictly on behaviors and is not

psychotherapy.
