What do schools need?
In 2023, Code School Finland conducted survey to understand the real needs of schools . We discovered that the biggest gap in teaching digital skills was in AI. Most schools were in urgent need of teacher training and AI-related resources.
We react and improve
Code School Finland is constantly responding to changes and needs in both educational and technological landscape . We improve our curriculum and courses early on based on on-the-ground curriculum changes and schools’ feedback. Code School Finland is a key contributor to the national Generation AI project collaborating with three universities in Finland and creating guidelines for best practices in AI education .
In recent studies, students’ conceptual understanding and ethical perception of AI were significantly improved by the tools and methods developed during the Generation AI project.
