RESPONSIBILITES: • Conduct mediations between buyer and seller to resolve issues regarding arbitrated vehicles • Control price changes as per auction policy. Approve auction expenses pertaining to arbitrated vehicles Autho- rize repairs to arbitrated vehicles • Review all information and determine if claim meets published guidelines for client’s arbitration requirements. • Prepare necessary documentation and present information for arbitration to seller • Inform dealer of arbitration outcome; if claim is accepted or rejected and the determined resolution • Investigate customer complaints by researching validity of the complaint. Consult with on-site mechanics to investigate discrepancies • Coordinate the day to day workflow of the Mechanical dept • Ensure both buyer and seller has made proper payments ex. Mechanical bills, adjustments etc. Post payments to accounting • Promotes mechanical services offered by the department • Prepare arbitrated vehicles for re-run in future sale by arranging detailing and mechanical checks EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: • High School diploma or equivalent in education/experience • 2-3 years of related experience in a related field • Excellent interpersonal communication, negotiation and customer service skills with proven conflict resolution • Proactive, positive attitude combined with the ability to exercise good judgment, under tight timelines • Must be well organized, able to multi-task, and work well under pressure • An understanding of Automotive (repair) knowledge and automotive product lines • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications • Knowledge of AMS an asset We wish to promote a positive workplace where learning is encouraged.
